We should all do a better job of supporting our local small businesses.
As much as I shop at Target and on Amazon, I do try to frequent some of the small businesses and boutiques in and around my hometown. Not only do I find truly unique and one-of-a-kind items and really great food and drinks, but I also get to give back to my community, and meet some pretty amazing friends and neighbors in the process.
Take some time this year to drive around your hometown and visit some of the local businesses, restaurants and shops. It’s a win-win situation.
