Day 1 of NYFW: My Favorite Looks

Day 1  | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6 | Day 7

Autumn/Winter 2017 Fashion Week began with a blast. A blast of snow and frigid temps courtesy of Winter Storm Niko. The biggest storm of the season caused seasoned fashionistas to reconsider their front-row frocks in favor of more appropriate cold weather attire.

Not this fashionista, however. I saw every show from the comfort of my PJ’s all warm and cozy in my Hudson Valley home. Thank god for the live stream.

While the manfriend spent a good two hours plowing over a foot of snow out of our rather long driveway, I was immersed in the emergence of all the trends we’ll be fawning over in fall.

The 70’s, crushed velvet, cold-shoulders, bohemia, pink, lace, and a stampede of military inspired looks to outfit an army of resistance. All of this just from day one.

Here’s a look at some of my favorite looks so far. Keep checking back throughout the week to see more.
