If you’ve been following my blog or Instagram feed for a while, you know that it’s very rare to see me wearing anything white. There’s a good reason for that. I’m clumsy. Like extremely clumsy.
If I have a glass of red wine, it’s going to get spilled. I drop things. I spill things. And I fall. A lot. (Just ask the manfriend. When he leaves for work in the morning, he usually says something like…”I love you. Try not to fall today.”)
Anyway, I don’t wear white a lot because I know it’s not going to be white for very long. But when I saw this dress at one of my favorite consignment shops, I fell in love.
The lady at the consignment shop referred to it as “The Marilyn Dress.” It’s not a halter dress, but is very similar in the silhouette. I styled the dress with a pair of JustFab strappy sandals and a disc necklace from New York & Company.
Now, let’s just see if I can make it through the day without a spill. Or a fall.
